While we were home in Maryland we had a last minute opportunity to baptize Camden. We went to the church I grew up in and had him baptized in front of my parents, sister, brother and grandmother. Camden was baptized by Deacon Moore, the Deacon of my high school. My sister, Kristen was named Camden’s Godmother and Drake’s brother, Andrew, was named his Godfather. It was a small and intimate moment. Drake’s family was there in spirit, it’s definitely a struggle having families so far from each other, but we have been doing our best with it. I’m just lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents for our little man. 🙂
