Being a Mommy during a sweeps month…

February is one of those months out of the year in tv that absolutely consumes your life. You eat, breathe, sleep: news, email alerts, push alerts, live stream, writing news articles, sharing news on social media… And more!

So what happens when you have a 1st birthday, a 3rd wedding anniversary, a daddy going to drill and freelance to top it all off? You make it work!

Nothing can stop this mama from making sure the ones she loves are taken care of.

Yeah, some things like forgetting milk, passing by the grocery store when you thought about going there the entire way home, or even staying at work at extra 2 hours… It happens!

Life is crazy, it’s busy, but at the end of the day, a smile from Camden can fix just about anything. Until he stops laughing and pulls my hair or scratches my lip. It’s the mom life that keeps me going!

So I’m still working my butt off to bring the best online news and stories but I’m also taking in ever moment that I can with my husband and my sweet boy.

So he’s one. My Camden is one! I can’t even believe it.

This little man made me a Mommy and it’s the best gift anyone could give me. Everyday he challenges me, makes me laugh, entertains me and cuddles me. I’m taking it all in and enjoying it all while it lasts. Years from now I hope I raise him to be the strong, happy, funny boy he’s on his way to becoming. He’s going to change the world… He can do that by curing a disease or just making people laugh. Camden Brett, you are my boy, my sunshine and my heart. I love you so!

Camden knows how to have some fun. He’s started making a new face and it cracks us up as much as it does him.

I designed the invites, printed them myself and made some cute signs for the party!

But even better, Camden was sooooo into the presents and the cake! He was a ham!
