We’re getting close to the final countdown. Baby Kate is due August 14th and I’ve been spending my time getting last minute things ready for her arrival and preparing for my upcoming maternity leave.
I’ve packed a bag of fun for Camden that has some crayons, a coloring book, some play-doh, etc. in it so we have some stuff for him to stay busy with, just in case I go into labor when he’s not in daycare or we don’t have anyone to help watch him right away.
My hospital bag is starting to accumulate some items for the big day! I’m so anxious to meet this little girl who has been so active and moving like crazy in my belly.
A lot of friends and family have been asking if I’m registered anywhere. We have most of our stuff leftover from when we had Camden so we don’t really need a whole lot. But, there are some “girl” things and some larger items that we need that I’ve put on a few lists.

We can’t wait for everyone to meet Kate! Camden is already very excited and talking about his little sister like crazy. Every little thing I get and show him, he says “she’s gonna love that!” He is so excited to be a big brother and I can’t wait to see his reaction when he meets her!
