Flippin’ your fins in the pools at a Walt Disney World Resort just got a lot more magical because now you can actually flip around in a mermaid tail and learn how to be part of Ariel’s world at their new mermaid school!
Yes! This is a real thing and yes I want to do it… but, it says it’s for ages 4 and up. I mean they have to have some rules but there isn’t anything about being too old and everyone is a kid at Disney World, right?
In all seriousness, the mermaid school is an hour-long class held on select dates (starting in mid-March) at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.
Guests will be fitted with a swimmable “tail” and they will participate in activities teaching them how to swim in a pool like a mermaid.
The classes are $50 per person, plus tax, and bookings are open now through 407-WDW-PLAY.
